So I’m in the print studio today and I see a couple of bottles of this stuff laying around. Apparently it’s one of the things you use to prepare a plate for etching. 

A friend of mine taught me this song years ago and I could not help humming it to myself every time I happened to glance at the bottle. 

When I told my old man about it, he said, “Yeah, sure, Brasso! They make a polishing rag that I used to use on my trombone. And then in the military, forget it— they want you to use that shit on EVERYTHING. ‘Brasso your helmet!’ ‘Brasso your balls!’ Sure thing, sir. Right after I pick up that can of frequency grease.”
